Frank Kissing 

Nothing quite beats the feeling of being carried away by music. Of being moved by the rhythm. The melody lingering in mind long after its first impact. It is that exact feel, which sparked a lifelong affection for all things electronic dance music with German producer & DJ Frank Kissing. He tried to ignore it. But some things can’t be tamed. And so, he decided to embrace its call and act upon it. Driven by that which fuels his fire and gets his pulse racing, Frank Kissing is ready to make himself heard.  From childhood memories of playing the piano, accompanying the Italian songs his father used to play on accordion, all the way onto witnessing the endless energy of house music at the first dance event he ever attended – these moments sparked a fire within for the Bochum based music maker. 

His youth wasn’t the easiest; he hadn’t been living at home since the age of 13, moving into his own apartment at 15. When he started his apprenticeship at 19, he bought his first turntables and mixers – as well as investing in the first steps of music making. He taught himself to play vinyl, and within no less than 6 months landed his first gig, playing in front of 2,500 people at an event not far from his hometown. He became a resident DJ for the same organisation, and played various clubs in the Ruhr area, owning the status of one-to-watch. 

Unfortunately, real life called.  Frank was forced to be self-employed and founded his own company, while continuing his education at night school. Short on time to work on his music, yet highly successful in business, he gave up music completely. However focussed on his job, he couldn’t help but feel like something was missing out.
